1. Bodyweight Training

If you’ve just walked into the gym and have no idea how to use any of the gear, never fear! You don’t have to try them straight away. Instead, you can carry out exercises that don’t require any equipment, known as bodyweight training.

For a quarter of an hour, do some chair squats, walking lunges, incline push-ups, and even some crunches. Start with five of each for up to three sets before moving onto something else to do.
